Tips for washing linen

Always use the proper washing agents. Detergents containing oxygen-type bleach are suitable for white linen, but should not be used on natural, coloured or embroidered linen.

Use the correct water temperature according to the care instructions and never wash white linen with coloured items.

If machine washing, remember to put delicate pieces in a protective bag to avoid wear and tear.

Linen must be rinsed thoroughly to make sure that all soap has been removed. Failure to do so, may lead to the formation of age spots.

Never soak, boil or scrub your embroidered linen and make sure to remove stains while they are still fresh.

If you decide to have your linen dry cleaned, make sure to mention that it is 100% linen.
